Our security team will be working throughout the holiday period.


The Langthwaite Security Team, located in the First Floor Offices, Units 18-20 (The Ice Co), will be working 24/7 over the Christmas and New Year period. The contact number for the security team is 01977 652984.


The LBA admin office will close for the Christmas period on Monday 23rd December 2024 and will re-open again on Thursday 2nd January 2024.

Help us to keep your premises secure over the Christmas and New Year period by letting us know which days your premises will be closed.


Confirm the details for your emergency contact(s)

Please email the name and telephone number for your company’s key holder and / or emergency contact that you would like us to call in the case of any emergency that may arise whilst your premises are closed.


If you have more than one key holder / emergency contact, then please send the name and telephone number for all contacts and list them in order of the priority that you would like us to contact them.

Home to the UK’s largest kitchen showroom

DIY Kitchens recently opened a new state of the art kitchen showroom in Unit 25A on the park. The new facility is the largest kitchen showroom in the UK and contains over 60 displays to view. The two-storey purpose-built showroom covers 25,000 sq ft and opened earlier this year. It is open to the public 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday. Langthwaite Enterprise Zone

Following Wakefield Council’s Planning and Highways Committee approval in May this year, work has now commenced on the Langthwaite Enterprise Zone. Contractors, Balfour Beatty began construction work earlier this month (June 2024) to establish a temporary access road from Onward Way into the main site. The project is split into two phases. The site is in the ownership of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the Full Business Case for Phase 1, together with £12.7m funding was approved by the Combined Authority at its meeting in July 2023. Phase 1 will unlock the enterprise zone, which is 9.45 hectares in size, by delivering an access road constructed to an adoptable standard that connects to the main site. The site will be remediated up to development platform level, creating up to 27,000sqm of potential commercial floor space with an indicative unit size range of between 700 – 9,300 sqm. An Asset Development Plan for Phase 2 is currently being developed which will inform the future commercial development of the site including the exact type and size of units.
